Whiskers'n Tails Pet Care has been operating in Sydney's eastern suburbs for over 15 years and now offers boarding in the Southern Highlands.

We provide excellent quality service in Dog Boarding,
Doggy Day Care, Dog Walking.

We named our property 'Merrigang' which is an Aboriginal name meaning 'playground for dingos'. We still offer the same great services, but our exciting new extension means we are able to offer an even better holiday facility for your dogs! Our dogs are free to enjoy a pack experience, they sleep & play together with plenty of shelter, shade and open sunny areas to run around and explore with their mates.

We also give them escorted trips to our dam for a swim in the warmer months. This is a very important thing for us to provide for your loved ones. We do not believe in confining dogs to individual kennels or runs and it is also important to our valued clients too who can leave their cherished pets with us with peace of mind that they are having an active holiday experience. It is not unusual for some of our more energetic guests to get home & sleep for a few days!

What do we need to bring?

Food and bedding is all provided and we also supply waterproof coats in case it gets a little wet & chilly.

We provide trampoline beds with nice thick Hessian Cushions.

Please contact us to discuss any special dietary requirements. We will also administer any medication your pet requires.

Sally has previous experience working as a vet nurse so please feel free to discuss any of your dog's medical issues with us.

The Ten Commandments for a Responsible Pet Owner

• My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very painful.
• Give me time to understand what you want from me.
• Place your trust in me - it is crucial for my well being.
• Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment. I have only you.
• Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words I understand your voice when it is speaking to me.
• Be aware that however you treat me, kindly or otherwise I'll not forget it.
• Before you hit me remember that I could easily strike back, but I choose not to retaliate.
• Before you scold me, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food nor exercise or I'm getting old.
• Take care of me when I get old. You too will grow old.
• Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, "I can't bare to watch it." Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember I love you.
